Pathivara temple is the temple of goddess Pathivara Devi. This temple lies in Taplejung district of eastern part of Nepal. It is one of the most important place for Hindus as well as Buddhists pilgrimage. There is a belief that, the goddess Pathivara Devi fulfills the long cherished dreams of her devotees. Worshipers from different parts of Nepal and outside visit the temple during special occasions. The devotees offers sacrifice the animals to the goddess. This region attracts the tourists who are seeking spiritual fulfillment and blessing from powerful Pathivara Devi. The area is blessed with spectacular landscape and Himalayan peaks. You can also find different species of Rhododendron there.
First you travel from Kathmandu to Myanglung Bazaar, either by bus or jeep. You can choose the any one, but the price may vary. Stay there overnight.
