Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha. It is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in Rupandehi district. There lies a Lumbini garden with Maya Devi Temple, where queen Maya Devi gave birth to Lord Buddha. Also, you can see a stone pillar, The Ashoka Pillar along with four stupas there.

Visiting Manakamana Temple is a short way to escape out of thehustle and bustleof Kathmandu Valley.Manakamana Temple is a holy place. It is the temple of the goddess Manakamana Devi. Hindus believes that she is the goddess who fulfills their wishes. Manakamana is at the top and below is Kurintar. From Kurintar, the cable car runs and connects two points. In addition, from the top of Manakamana you can see the beautiful mountains view.

One can reach the top of the hill through the cable car ride enjoying the most scenic views around. At the top of the hill, there lies Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. Outside the temple, there is a statue of King Prithivi Narayan Shah standing with a sword in his hand and garland around his neck.
