Lumbini

Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha. It is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in Rupandehi district. There lies a Lumbini garden with Maya Devi Temple, where queen Maya Devi gave birth to Lord Buddha. Also, you can see a stone pillar, The Ashoka Pillar along with four stupas there.

Janakpur

Janakpur City is also known as Janakpur Dham. It is the birth place of King Janak’s daughter Sita. Janakpur is also a popular pilgrimage site and every year many pilgrims comes here to celebrate the festival ‘Ram Nawami’.

Chitwan National Park

The Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. It is also listed in the world heritages site. This park has a total of 868 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna, and 126 species of fishes. One can explore the park through Jungle Safari and see many protected animal like, one horn rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, and crocodile.
